Links to wonderful places Debora Coombs is English, but has her home and studio in Vermont where she produces some of the most sought-after contemporary work of our time and teaches small studio classes. In 2009 I was able to assist Debora Coombs in her Artist in Residency at the Riverside Elementary School in Elmira, New York. Over 70 first grade students painted on glass and created a huge new window for permanent installation in the school. (see photo) In addition to my studies under Debora Coombs I have had the privilege of receiving several scholarships to study under two other gifted glass painters.
